Lunch Information

- Hot lunches are served daily. The cost of a school lunch is $2.75,
which includes milk. Students may also purchase milk or juice separately
for 40 cents per half pint.
- Tickets may be purchased in books of twenty. A ticket book costs
$55.00. Please make checks payable to Mercer Island School District
#400.
- It is each student’s responsibility to have a lunch from home,
a valid lunch ticket, or the appropriate money for lunch. Anyone who
does not will be offered a sandwich and milk 3 times a year per student.
We do not loan money for lunch. If your child is going to be late, please
order ahead by phone through the main office.
- Free and Reduced Lunches are available to children of families who
qualify. We encourage all families who might qualify to submit an application,
as the district qualifies for extra funds according to identified numbers
of families qualifying for free or reduced lunches. Please contact the
school office at 236-3430 for an application form.
