The West Mercer PTA sponsors tuition based after school art
classes at West Mercer. These classes meet once a week, immediately
after school, at the school, and are available to students in
first through fifth grades. These clubs allow those students
with a special interest in the visual arts to pursue this interest
further. Students may choose between an art club, in which they
work on a variety of art projects, or a performing arts club,
in which they create set pieces and masks/costumes and perform
in their own stage production. Registration is on a first come,
first serve basis. Registration forms are generally available
on a quarterly basis. Timely information can be received via
