• MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus) has been in the news lately. MRSA is a staph skin infection that is resistant to the usual antibiotics used for staph infections, but is treatable with other antibiotics. The district continues to use appropriate cleaning methods and materials in all of our schools to control the spread of this infection.

  Please also let your school nurse know if you or your child is diagnosed with any contagious disease so we can keep track of clusters and report them to public health. Names are not used in reporting.
